Looking for a family photographer in Seagrove Beach Florida? Shelley B Photography does beautiful, relaxed beach sessions in Seagrove and along the 30A corridor.
Seagrove Beach occupies a sweet spot on 30A — tucked between the iconic Seaside and the natural beauty of Grayton Beach State Park, with a relaxed, unpretentious character that longtime 30A visitors tend to love. The beach here is wide and beautiful, the access is easy, and the community has a warmth and quietness that makes it genuinely pleasant as a place to spend an evening doing family photos.
We photograph families in Seagrove regularly, and it's one of the communities we enjoy most on the corridor.
The beach is wide and natural-feeling. Seagrove's Gulf beach has a natural, open quality — not overdeveloped, not crowded, just gorgeous white sand and that trademark Emerald Coast water stretching out to the horizon. At golden hour, there's often no one else around.
Easy access from the community. The beach walkovers from Seagrove's residential streets are easy to navigate, and many rental homes have direct or near-direct beach access. We come to wherever you're staying, so the session starts right from your property.
Proximity to Seaside and Watercolor variety. If you want to add visual variety to your session — moving from the natural beach into a community setting — Seaside is just a short walk east. We can structure sessions that span both environments if that's appealing.
Quieter than its neighbors. Seagrove doesn't have the destination-community draw of Seaside or Rosemary Beach, which means it tends to be calmer and less trafficked at the times that matter most for photography.
We arrive at your rental location as golden hour begins. Both Shelley and Blaine photograph your session together — one handling the formal group portraits, the other capturing the candid moments. We work through the light for about an hour, mixing posed family arrangements with natural, unscripted moments.
The Seagrove beach at golden hour has a warmth and clarity that produces images you'll want to print. We shoot with a Hasselblad medium format camera at 100 megapixels, so when you're ready to put something on your wall, the quality is there.
We book one family per sunset — the light is entirely yours.
