Most families visiting 30A spend months planning the trip — the rental search, the packing, the activities, the restaurants. By the time they arrive, the last thing anyone wants is one more logistics puzzle. Which is exactly why our approach to vacation photography on 30A is simple: we come to you.
Wherever you're staying along the 30A corridor, we'll be there when golden hour starts. No driving. No coordinating. No herding the family into cars right before the session. You walk out the back door onto the sand, and the session begins from there.
You reach out through our contact form with your 30A trip dates and where you're staying — Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, Seacrest, Seaside, Watercolor, Grayton Beach, Blue Mountain Beach, Seagrove, or Santa Rosa Beach. We look at sunset times for your dates, pick an evening that works, and show up at your rental location when the light begins to shift.
The session runs for about an hour — built entirely around the golden hour window when the Emerald Coast light is at its most beautiful. We photograph a mix of formal group portraits and natural, candid moments, and we wrap up as the last colors fade from the sky.
Your gallery arrives digitally after the session, with full-resolution files ready to download, share, and print.
For families with young kids, this changes the entire session dynamic. There's no car ride right before photos where someone spills something on their outfit or the toddler falls asleep. The kids are already in their environment — comfortable, happy, familiar with the space. They open up faster, cooperate longer, and produce more natural expressions.
For families with elderly grandparents or anyone with mobility considerations, it removes a genuine logistical barrier. Grandma doesn't have to navigate an unfamiliar parking lot or walk farther than necessary.

We photograph sessions from one end of 30A to the other — Inlet Beach and Rosemary Beach on the east all the way through Santa Rosa Beach on the west, and everywhere in between. We also photograph sessions in nearby Destin, Miramar Beach, Fort Walton Beach, and further east toward Panama City Beach.

Both Shelley and Blaine shoot every session — simultaneously, throughout the entire golden hour. One handles the formal portraits. The other captures the candid moments, the in-between expressions, the real stuff that happens when people are genuinely comfortable and having fun.
We shoot with a Hasselblad medium format system at 100 megapixels. The image quality at this level is in a fundamentally different category — especially when you decide to print something large.
